From Bridgeport Heritage to PMT Innovation
PMT’s technical heritage can be traced back to the European and American Bridgeport machine tool brand. During the 1990s and early 2000s, our engineering team worked within a Sino-foreign joint venture with Bridgeport in China. This collaboration gave us direct exposure to mature Western design concepts, manufacturing standards and quality systems.
Building on this foundation, PMT (Chengdu Precise CNC Machine Tool Co., Ltd.) was established in 2005 as an independent brand. Rather than simply assembling existing models, we chose to develop our own new-generation CNC machining centers and 5 Axis CNC Machine solutions tailored to the needs of Chinese and international customers.
