• What types of documents can I download from the PMT Download Center?

  You can download machine brochures, basic specification sheets, layout examples, company profiles and selected application documents. Service manuals and detailed electrical drawings are usually provided only to existing customers through our technical support channels.

• I can’t find documents for a specific machine model. What should I do?

  Some customized or newly developed models may not be listed here yet. Please contact us with your required model or application, and we will send the latest documents directly or recommend a similar standard model.

• Are the specifications in the brochures final and binding?

  All published data reflects typical configurations and is provided for reference. PMT continues to optimize our products, so specifications may be updated without prior notice. Final technical details will be confirmed in your formal quotation and contract.

• Do you provide documents in other languages?

  Our standard documents are in English and Chinese. For key projects or distributors, we can support additional languages where necessary, either through local partners or by providing editable reference texts.

• Where can I find information about machine installation requirements?

  Basic installation and environmental requirements are included in the Product & Technical Documents section. For detailed foundation drawings, power requirements and peripheral interfaces, please contact our engineering team.

• How does PMT ensure the accuracy and reliability stated in your documents?

  All accuracy claims are based on testing performed under PMT’s internal procedures and ISO-based quality system. Each machine is inspected and test cut before delivery, and inspection results can be reviewed during FAT or provided as part of the project documentation.

• How would you position PMT’s machine tool technology globally?

  PMT’s CNC machine tools are positioned at the top tier of the global second-line brands. Many of our models approach the performance of the world’s leading first-line OEMs, especially in 5-axis machining, titanium and difficult-to-cut materials, while our overall portfolio maintains a very competitive cost–performance balance.

• If your machines are so advanced, why not call yourselves a first-line global brand?

  From a pure technology perspective, many of our solutions are already very close to top global brands. However, we are realistic about two points:

  1. our company size and global market coverage are not yet as large as the biggest international OEMs;

  2. not every single model in our portfolio is positioned at the absolute top.
     Therefore, we describe ourselves as top-level second-line, with the goal of becoming an internationally recognized first-line brand as our global presence grows.

• How does PMT compare with German machine tools of a similar level?

  For comparable specifications and accuracy, PMT machines typically cost about one-half to two-thirds of similar German brands, while offering equal or higher machining efficiency under the same accuracy requirements. This combination of precision, productivity and investment savings gives manufacturers greater space for profit and future development.

• What industries and projects has PMT already supported in China?

  PMT is already regarded as a top-level machine tool manufacturer within China and has participated in numerous aerospace, aviation and defense projects. Our machines are used to produce critical titanium structural parts, complex components and high-precision assemblies, and have delivered excellent performance in long-term, mission-critical applications.

• Who owns PMT today, and what is the relationship with Beijing YUDING Additive?

  In May 2020, Chengdu Precise CNC Machine Tool Co., Ltd. was wholly merged into Beijing YUDING Additive Manufacturing Group, which operates China’s largest direct-formed titanium DED 3D printing technology for aerospace and defense. The machine tool business operates under the group umbrella but remains independently managed, allowing us to combine world-class additive and subtractive technologies while keeping a clear focus on CNC machine tool innovation.

• Why do I sometimes see the names PURUISI and PMT? Are they the same company?

  Yes. Our original company name is Chengdu Precise CNC Machine Tool Co., Ltd., with the Chinese brand 普瑞斯 (PURUISI). For global markets we registered the international brand PMT, derived from our original graphic logo.

  • In China, we continue to use the PURUISI brand.

  • In international markets, we use PMT for easier recognition, communication and branding.
    Both refer to the same company, technology, factory and team.

• What quality standards and certifications do PMT machines follow?

  PMT operates under an ISO-based quality management system and follows strict internal standards for design, manufacturing, assembly and inspection. Our processes draw on aerospace-grade practices, with full-process inspection, geometry checks, dynamic tests and cutting verification before delivery. For specific projects, we can also support additional documentation and acceptance criteria defined by the customer.

• How does PMT ensure machining accuracy and long-term stability?

  Accuracy and stability are achieved through:

  • optimized machine structure design and high-rigidity components,

  • in-house machining and grinding of critical parts,

  • precision assembly, scraping and alignment,

  • laser interferometer and ballbar testing,

  • and real cutting trials with customer-like parts.
    This ensures that the machine not only meets static accuracy on day one, but also maintains long-term performance under heavy industrial usage.

• What is the typical procurement process if we want to purchase PMT machines?

  The general process is:

  1. Requirement collection – parts, materials, accuracy, cycle time and budget;

  2. Application evaluation & machine recommendations – including 5-axis, VMC, HMC, gantry, turning and automation options;

  3. Technical proposal & quotation – clear scope, configuration and pricing;

  4. Layout and process confirmation – including automation / FMS if needed;

  5. Contract signing & project planning;

  6. Machine manufacturing, testing and FAT at PMT;

  7. Shipment, installation, commissioning and training at your site;

  8. After-sales support and process optimization.

• Can PMT support turnkey solutions including automation and process engineering?

  Yes. Beyond standalone CNC machines, PMT can provide turnkey systems, including 5 Axis CNC Machines, machining centers, turning centers, automation cells (robots, pallet systems), FMS lines, fixtures and process support. We assist with layout design, cycle-time analysis and process optimization, so that customers can go from project concept to stable mass production with a single engineering partner.

• How does PMT balance cost and quality compared with other competitors at a similar level?

  Our strategy is to maintain first-class engineering and quality at a more accessible investment level. By focusing on core technology, in-house manufacturing and lean organization, we avoid unnecessary overheads. The result is that, among machine tools in the same class, PMT often offers the highest overall value when you consider accuracy, efficiency, reliability, service and total cost of ownership together.

• If we are not familiar with Chinese suppliers, how can we evaluate PMT as a long-term partner?

  We suggest three practical approaches:

  1. Technical evaluation – review our machine specifications, structures, configuration options and sample cutting results versus your requirements.

  2. Reference projects – look at our experience in Chinese aerospace, defense and other high-end industries, which demand very strict quality and reliability.

  3. Factory and online audits – visit our Chengdu facility in person or conduct a remote audit to review production, assembly, inspection and project management processes.
     Many international customers are pleasantly surprised that a brand with relatively low global visibility can deliver technology and quality at this level.

• Can PMT cooperate with our local integrator or engineering team?

  Yes. PMT is flexible in cooperation models. We can work directly with end users, or jointly with your local system integrator, distributor or engineering partner. Our goal is to ensure that the machine tool, automation, process and local support are all aligned to deliver the best result for your factory.

• What kind of long-term support can we expect after purchasing PMT machines?

  PMT provides remote technical support, spare parts supply, on-site service, preventive maintenance advice and process optimization assistance. For key customers and large installations, we can discuss dedicated support arrangements or service agreements to maintain high uptime throughout the machine lifecycle.
